MTB
Self shuttle with more than one car or book a ticket (or season pass) to be shuttled up the hill in buses so you can just do the fun part – riding back down again!
Bushwalk
There are tonnes of bushwalks near falls creek in the Alpine National Park. I havn’t done any of them because I had no idea there was so much up there and hadn’t planned for them into my weekend! You can find more information on the Parks Victoria Alpine National Park page.
Some of Victorias most challenging and remote walks are in the high country but there are also shorter options to explore on the Bogong High Plains.
Road Riding
Road riding is a popular activity on the high plain in the warmer months. There are heaps of resources out there on different length road ride options by Ride High Country and Victorias High Country websites.
