Trying to find ideas for things to do on the weekend? We have loads of beautiful waterfalls to visit all over Victoria that make for a great stop on day trips and weekends away.

While not every waterfall is on this list, this list includes some of the best waterfalls in Victoria (as well as a variety of lengths for different abilities) to get you started planning a weekend away.

Great Ocean Road and Otway Region

Stevensons Falls* - 500m Return Walk

This waterfalls relatively short and easy walk plus its dog friendly status makes it a popular stop with day trippers and people on holidays in the Otways and on the Great Ocean Road. This walk is around 500m return, you can see more photos on my track notes on Stevensons Falls in the Otways.

Hideaway Bay Hamilton Island Bushwalk

Hideaway Bay on Hamilton Island is tucked away just a 950m (1.9km return) walk from the 'Scenic Trail Entrance' which is located at the south eastern end of Catseye Beach.

Bright Dog Friendly Travel Guide

Bright is overall a very dog friendly town. Dogs are allowed on lead in the town of Bright and are welcome at the Brewery and some other cafes. There is also plenty of places for swimming access and bushwalks.

Free camping Bright and around Bright

There is currently no dedicated free camping in Bright that is close to the town centre however there are two options for free camping near Bright.
