Hideaway Bay on Hamilton Island is tucked away just a 950m (1.9km return) walk from the 'Scenic Trail Entrance' which is located at the south eastern end of Catseye Beach.
Don't let the distance fool you it is quite up and down walk with a steep hill to start if you're not particularly fit like me.

Track Notes for the Hideaway Bay Bushwalk
It was a nice little bay but Personally, if I only had limited days I would enjoy catseye beach and use my effort walking to one of the lookouts for a different view of the island.
Depending on where your staying this walk starts with walking along Catseye Beach or the Footpath along the road.
We walked along the footpath before you turn up the hill at the end of the drive.

It's mostly gravel access road which is never quite as exciting as single walking track but it does have some filtered water views and ends at a nice little rocky beach bay to relax before your return walk back again.
Once your most of the way back you can duck down onto the eastern end of Catseye Beach and have a paddle while you walk back.
